President Trump has released a statement about the midair plane collision in Washington, D.C., saying he has been briefed on the crash and is “monitoring the situation.” The Pentagon also released a statement confirming the aircraft involved was an Army UH-60 helicopter out of Fort, Belvoir, Virginia.
