Gov. Gavin Newsom announces plan to combat redistricting: ‘Meet fire with fire’
California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) announced that the state will move forward with a plan to redraw congressional maps, as Democrats fight against Donald Trump and the GOP’s gerrymandering push. Newsom called for a special election on November 4th to introduce new U.S. House maps.
