The National Guard arrives in Los Angeles after ICE raid protests
Elements of the 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team from the California National Guard have begun deploying to the Los Angeles area, with some already on the ground.
President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on Saturday “deploying 2,000 National Guardsmen to address the lawlessness” in California — a move that Gov. Newsom warned would only “escalate” tensions.
